I have always loved mountains. I grew up in Bulgaria where we are lucky to have lots of mountains. Next to Sofia (the city I was born in) is located Vitosha mountain with its highest peak – Cherni Vrah (Black Peak) – 2925m. I remember in the winters we used to go for a half day skiing and managed to go back home to have an afternoon tea and do some work. When I was training in the summers I used to run up and rest in the small hut at the top where there was always warm tea and bean soup. Happy times.
Fast forward to today and thanks to the Covid-19 virus, we are all in confinement here in Brussels Belgium. Being a photographer stuck at home is not easy, I dream about all the photos I want to take when we are allowed to travel again. So, one morning I woke up with an idea in my mind 🙂
Ongoing project.
